The globetrotters were in full force tonight. Maybe Pavelski’s line should be the #1 pp unit for a while…although both of them were pretty bad tonight, overall.

Hey Ann,

I know your Photoshop skills are far superior to mine, so I’m pitching this idea to you because I think it would make a great photo on the site. Is there any chance you could change the movie poster to Mark Wahlberg’s “Shooter” and replace Wahlberg’s face with Joe Pavelski’s and the gun with a hockey stick? After watching him take Ersberg to school just now, and based on his shootout prowess, it seems only appropriate.

Did you read until the end of the post? Because in the last two paragraphs, I pretty much said exactly that. I just wanted to mess around with other possible meanings the description “Globetrotters” might have before getting to the point.

I like the post but I think he’s referring to the showmanship of the Globetrotters. Their record is so stacked because they’re suppose to win the games and spend 98% of the game dicking around until it comes time to Generals away. Our power play is the portion of their game that they’re dicking around making neat passes and pantsing the other team’s guys. Sure, we don’t score goals, but it looks pretty right?
