HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Wait, last night was a joke, right? Right?
Oh, and I swear, the Sharks are the only team that gets bandwagoners only when they’re doing bad. Things going normal, they’re winning games, and it’s just the regulars. Sharks lose 8-2, and BOOM! Dozens of people come out the cracks just to piss and moan, using phrases such as “choke,” “no heart,” and “lose in the playoffs.” Same thing happened last year during the Anaheim series. If the Sharks actually win the Stanley Cup, will they lose fans?
By the way, the Gamecenter standings will be put on indefinite hiatus because of a long story that ends with my subscription accidentally being canceled. Anyone who wants to keep up with them, or do them for their own team and send them to me, be my guest.

Fools and Sages was created as an outlet for photoshopping, web design, and hockey rants. I currently attend school in Southern California, but do not hesitate to yell "BEAT LA!" As a Sharks fan, I will defend Patrick Marleau to the death. I have stats, and I'm not afraid to use them.

How in the hell do you have REVERSE bandwagon fans? That is utterly baffling, especially considering how good the Sharks are. Their playoff reputation is shaky, yes, but they consistently make the playoffs and last year and likely this, will end up with the best record in hockey.
I was at that game, by the way. As a Stars fan, it was beautiful to see. We’ve won just two games (blech) since the return from the Olympics, and they were against the top team in the East and the top team in the West. A small victory to relish as we crash and burn for the second season in a row (watched Philly just beat us…ugh). Happy hunting in the post season, San Hoser!

Where the hell is the faith Sharks fans. The Sharks didn’t win, but we did see some improvement. If the boys can just get that testosterone flowing, start communicating, making simple plays and just plain believing in themselves they’ll be back to their winning ways. Of course it helps when the fans are behind them. This is from a video I did after the game 2 loss to Anaheim in last year’s playoffs…a timely message I think.

The San Jose Sharks have been, over the past several years, the anti-bandwagon team. They’ve been trolling their own fans and the league as a whole for years now, though not intentionally. Four losses doesn’t take away the fact that they’re one of the two or three best franchises in the league this season. I don’t know what the trick will be to get these guys into the mental framework they’ll need for post-season success, but I’m hoping that a couple of embarrassments and a couple of close calls provides the kick in the butt many athletes need to perform at their best.

Um….we’re all gonna die? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, the playoffs are an entirely different beast. We have no idea how this Sharks team will perform until we get there. It would be nice to see them win heading down the stretch, though.
Also, laughing at the Sharks when they lose has become the cool thing to do in the NHL (that starts with the national media). The cool thing for Sharks fans to do when they lose is to go all chicken little (that starts with the local media). It’s just something we’ll have to deal with until they win it all someday.
